En los duros años de la posguerra rural en Cataluña, Andreu, un niño que pertenece al bando de los perdedores, encuentra en el bosque los cadáveres de un hombre y su hijo. Las autoridades quieren cargarle las muertes a su padre, pero él, para ayudarle, intenta averiguar quiénes son los auténticos responsables. En este recorrido Andreu desarrolla una conciencia moral frente a un mundo de adultos alimentado por las mentiras. Para sobrevivir, traiciona sus propias raíces y acaba descubriendo el monstruo que habita en él.

ENGLISH: In the hard years of postwar rural Catalonia, Andreu, a child belonging to the side of the losers in the forest the bodies of a man and his son. The authorities want to charge the death his father, but he, to help try to find out who the real perpetrators. On this tour Andreu develops a moral conscience in a world of adults fed by lies. To survive, betrays its own roots and ends up discovering the monster that inhabits it.
